Coping Strategies

At Bauder, we want all students to know its OKAY to have BIG feelings!  Big feelings can happen at any time for different reasons and may include feelings like sadness, anger, worry, or disappointment.

It’s important when we have big feelings to:        

  1. Recognize that we have big feelings,

  2. Pick a coping strategy

  3. Use the strategy

  4. Return to: “calm” and “ready to learn”
