Bauder's Title One program is federally funded and designed to provide additional reading and math instruction to support students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
Most Title One students at Bauder receive instruction in small groups of four or less during grade-level intervention/enrichment blocks. The Title One students meet with a Title One teacher daily for 35-45 minutes.
The reading sessions focus on basic skills, reading strategies, vocabulary development, fluency, and comprehension.
The math sessions focus on understanding early numbers, including forward and backward number sequence, numeral identification, number structure, and counting.
We use effective, research-based teaching practices and resources to support grade-level classroom reading/math instruction and to help students meet the rigors of the Colorado Academic Standards.
