The Bauder Pride Choir is an open choir for 4th and 5th graders. It meets once a week during the school day. Students in 4th or 5th grades are eligible for choir and no auditions are necessary – only a love of music, a desire to learn good vocal techniques, a positive attitude, and a commitment to being a full, participating member of the group.
Choir is an elective class offered during students’ regularly scheduled Encore time. Choir will begin after Thanksgiving break and run through mid-April. This year we will continue our tradition of Caroling and Cocoa with our families and friends. Also, in February, select choir members will participate in the Poudre School District Honor Choir.
Each April, the Bauder Pride Choir will be going on “TOUR.” During this tour, the choir will take a bus to performance venues in the community, have lunch on the town and also perform at Bauder for the school. That evening, we will perform a final concert for family and friends. We will also share a small sampling of our program at a joint concert at Blevins Junior High. Our theme this year is Disney Through the Ages. We will celebrate music from famous Disney movies while focusing on developing good vocal techniques and part singing. Come, sing along!
